    WBA Law Jarrel Miller Six Months suspended

    The World Boxing Association (WBA) suspended Jarrell 'Big Baby' Miller six months after failing three tests on the use of GW1516 performance-enhancing drugs, Human Growth Hormone (HGH) and EPO.

    The positive test results also made the New York State Athletic Commission refused to issue boxing permission for Miller. He was supposed to face IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight champions Anthony Joshua at Madison Square Garden, New York, USA, on June 1. Miller received a fee approaching USD5 million or equivalent to Rp71 billion.

    However, Miller's fate was unlucky after he secured the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA). VADA revealed findings of banned substances in Miller's sample collected on March 20, 2019.
    For the case the WBA took action. The WBA decided to suspend Miller for six months. That means he won't be ranked in September. To return to the ranking list, Miller must register with VADA at his own expense for random testing.

    "This is right. I'm sure Jarrell will obey the resolution. I don't think he has a choice, of course, through this resolution, he is obliged to do it."

    Miller will not fight until after the six-month suspension is over, Cohen said. That makes sense because Miller is unlikely to get a license from any state commission when he is still suspending the WBA. { SOURCE }
