Breazeale Threatens Wilder: I Will Make Him Pension
Dominic Breazeale called Deontay Wilder a disgrace to US boxing. Breazeale believes it can make the WBC heavyweight champion retire early if they lose at a clash at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, Saturday (05/18/2019) night local time or Sunday (05/19/2019) morning WIB.
Breazeale (20-1, 18 KO) believes Wilder's ego (40-0-1, 39 KO) will be destroyed if he loses, and that will make his mentality decline and potentially retire sooner.
"I think he feels inferior and that ended his career. Defeat can make him retire," Breazeale told Sky Sports.
"A man like Wilder, with the people around him he has, he is not used to being in sadness and is a depressed individual. I think it can paralyze him, the situation will send him to various types of depression and he never returns to fight again."
Wilder and Breazeale were known for years in hostilities, after a physical confrontation at a hotel in Alabama two years ago. Opportunities for revenge came a few months ago when the WBC ordered them to fight each other.
Breazeale believes the boxing public is bored with Wilder's talk and jokes. The once-defeated boxer (from Anthony Joshua in 2016) stated that the victory will be celebrated by millions of boxing fans around the world.
"Dropping without a doubt. Victory for myself is a victory for the world. No one wants to see Deontay Wilder as the WBC heavyweight champion. He is embarrassing not only for American boxing, for heavyweight in general," Breazeale said. { SOURCE }
