Damir Skomina was lured into Liverpool vs Tottenham referee

Reported, Standard, Wednesday (05/15/2019), the Slovenian referee was recorded to have led a big match like the 2017 Europa League final between Ajax vs Manchester United. In addition, he also served as a judge in the European Super Cup which brought Chelsea against Atletico in 2012.

For the Liverpool side, Skomina's appointment was clearly very unprofitable. At least four times the match was led by Skomina, the Reds always lost.
The meeting of two English clubs in the Champions League final is the second time. Previously, this duel had occurred on 2007/08 when Manchester United met Chelsea.
