After KO Wilder, Breazeale Rematch Anthony Joshua
Dominic Breazeale can't wait to knock down Deontay Wilder in the WBC Heavyweight Boxing title race. After KO Wilder, Breazeale hunted down the WBA, IBF and WBO Heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua to the rematch.
Breazeale rationed Wilder only to stay in the ring for no more than three rounds. He wants to quickly knock down Wilder so he can re-duel with Joshua. "If not, when I defeat Wilder. When I beat Wilder, it was really nice to put the title together against AJ (Anthony Joshua), '' Breazeale koar told Sky Sports.
Breazeale was impatient to serve Wilder in the fight for the WBC Heavyweight Boxing champion belt at the New York Barclays Center on May 19. The United States boxing owner (20-1, 18 KO) won the last three battles since being dropped by Joshua in the seventh round at The O2 Arena three years ago.
"I understand, in two and a half years, almost three years since I fought AJ in the summer of 2016, that was the only way to meet him again. That's the only way I can rematch with AJ, '' he explained.
"AJ has no reason to come to me and fight me. If I have a belt that he wants, he must come to fight me. So, unification and who deserves to have a heavyweight championship belt cannot be debated anymore," he continued.
Breazeale dares to fight to defeat Wilder after experiencing many significant changes in all aspects after training together with coach Amir Khan, Virgil Hunter. "I made a number of changes in the training camp, I have a new coach, and I moved to a new place," he explained. "I learned, why I only use jabs because I am a big man. How to put your right hand, how to release a quick punch, the defense tactic is pretty good, '' he added.
Breazeale's decision to move to practice with Virgil became her way to improve her fighting technique. "I'm glad I moved to Virgil, he taught me everything. I understand why I am still involved in boxing. "I have 10 years of boxing now and Virgil Hunter that can make me go through the next 10 years," he explained.
"This will definitely end with a knockout, I can't say the channel because I want to do something different in the ring. My wife's favorite is number three. I told her before the third round. So, the prediction was the third round." { SOURCE }
