F1 2019 Temporary Standings After the Azerbaijan GP
The fourth Formula One (F1) race that took place at the Baku Circuit, Azerbaijan was finished, on Sunday, April 28, 2019, night WIB. From the race, the Mercedes AMG Petronas racer, Valtteri Bottas, managed to become the fastest to touch the finish line after 51 laps.
With Bottas winning at the 2019 Azerbaijan GP, the Finnish driver also has the right to top the F1 drivers' standings with 87 points. Bottas is top of the table because in the previous three series he won one victory and two finished seconds.
Right under Bottas was his teammate, Lewis Hamilton. The British pass driver was second because his collection of points was only 86. Hamilton lost a point from Bottas because his teammate had once been a racer with the fastest lap record in the Australian series.
Following the Mercedes duo, in third place, there is the Scuderia Ferrari driver, Sebastian Vettel. Vettel was third after being able to collect 52 points. Able to finish third when appearing in the F1 2019 Azerbaijan GP unable to make Vettel win many points to pursue Bottas or Hamilton.
Then for the fourth place, there is Max Verstappen (Red Bull) which in the Azerbaijan GP finished fourth. After Verstappen, in fifth place belonged to the driver of the Scuderia Ferrari Team, Charles Leclerc.
