Azarenka Make sure to appear at the Fed Cup Single Number
BRISBANE - Former world number one Victoria Azarenka is certain to appear in a single number to strengthen the Belarus team in the Fed Cup event. As we know, Belarus will face Australia this weekend.
Azarenka will also meet her partner Ashleigh Barty in the second match in Brisbane, Australia on Saturday (4/20/2019). The Australian Open doubles champion was chosen to compete ahead of the world number 35 ranked Aliaksandra Sasnovich.
The match will be Azarenka's first appearance at the Fed Cup since the world group playoff against Russia in 2016. After that, Azarenka pulled away from the tennis world because she was busy taking care of the newborn baby.
